Dr. Jacqueline Atkins, Ph.D.

Dr Jacqueline Atkins is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned her Ph.D. in Clinical/Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina. She is currently the Chief Program Officer at Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services in Los Angeles. In her current role, she oversees all the programs and services at the agency.
Her primary interests include program evaluation, diversity issues, and data informed practice. Dr Atkins has presented at several conferences and professional meetings across the country. She maintains a strong interest in teaching and research. Most recently she has served as adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University and has served as a dissertation committee member for doctoral students at Cal State Long Beach.
